Interview with the NUCLEAR WORLD

Thank you very much for doing an interview with us, even though you are very busy preparing for your next live.

 1. Would you please introduce yourself and explain your equipment to our readers?

Jinto: Vocalist: I use a SHURE BETA58 wireless microphone.

Seikichi: Guitarist: I use a PRS custom 24. My amp is a Marshall 410 H.

DAINA: Guitarist: I use a PRS custom24 H&K, and a Tri Amp MKⅡ

KJ:Bassist: I use a Moon JB5 bass, a EDEN WT-800 amp, and so on.

Kaito: Drummer: My snare is a Ludwig 400, my set is by TAMA, and I use Paiste's cymbals.

2. How did you get introduced your instruments, and how long have you played?

Jinto: When I was a high school student, my friends and I decided to make a cover band. At first I wanted to be a guitarist, but we couldn't find a good vocalist. So it started as a joke, but I sang and finally I reluctantly started singing. So I've been singing for about ten years. Ha? Did you ask me if I gave a reluctant start singing, but now I love singing? YES, of course I LOVE singing now! (smile)』

Seikichi: I've been playing for about ten years or more.

DAINA: I've also played for about ten years.

KJ: I've been playing for about 10 years or more

Kaito: Around 10 years.

3.  Have you ever tried to play other instruments?

Jinto: I've tried guitar and drums.

Seikichi: I have tried bass and bachika (A type of African instrument similar to maracas)

DAINA: I also play keyboard.

KJ: I play classical guitar.

Kaito: I play guitar and trumpet.

4. How did you get together?

Kaito: I asked KJ to make a new band and recruit other members. Then Jinto and Seikichi joined us, because we had played together [in the past]. DAIMA joined us later.

5. Who is the leader?

Kaito: I am.

6. Who mainly composes the music?

All: DAINA and Sekichi compose the basic sound. They show the other members, and we all arrange it together.

7. How about lyrics?

Jinto: I do, but writing them kills me each time! (laugh)

8. Who is your favorite musician? Or was there a band that made you start playing?

Jinto: I love STEEL HEART, Whitesnake, and Crucified Barbara. I cannot remember what made me start playnig, but I think it was some Japanese music and AEROSMITH.

Seikichi: The Beatles and The Carpenters.

DAINA: JUDY AND MARY

KJ: I listen to so many kinds of music, but I love CHARA.

Kaito: Eijiroh Akita (from NOVELA and ACTION), SIAM SHADE, and The Beatles.

9. What message is in your sound? Or, what is the theme of your sound?

We hope to be powerful, or to help someone or something through our music.

10. Please tell us your live schedule.

June 16^th OSAKA MUSE, and August 23^rd am HALL

11. Will you tell us about your next CD or DVD release? Are you planning to sell your music overseas, or have tour abroad?

We're recording our new songs now, but we haven't decided when will they'll be released. If we had a chance to go abroad to do lives, we'd want to.

1. What is your favorite food, or what food can you not eat?

Jinto: I love raw meat.

Seikichi: Saikyouyaki (Fish grilled with saikyo miso) and Hijiki (seaweed)

DAINA: I love Sakeru cheese (A Japanese brand of string mozzarella-like cheese)

KJ: I cannot eat raisins...it's serious.

Kaito: I can eat anything maybe.

2. How do you spend your free time, if you have a day off? How you can have a few days?

Jinto: If I have one day off, I exercise. If it's a few days off, I'll go somewhere with nature.

Seikichi: One day? I sleep. A few days, I'll want to go home.

DAINA: I go to play slot machines.

KJ: If I can take a day off, I will sleep. And if I can take a few days off, I go to a spa.

Kaito: I go out.

3. What is your specialty or hobbies, except music?

Jinto: I'm good at swimming. My hobbies are watching movies, collecting silver accessories, and also buying clothes.

Seikichi: Playing with a Rubik's Cube in my room.

DAINA: PACHISLO (playing Pachinko and slot machines)

KJ: I go watch movies...it's very common, I'm sorry.

Kaito: I go to galleries to see my favorite painters' art. I also like going to aquariums or theme parks.

4. What type of girls can grab your heart? Is there any chance for a fan to become your girlfriend?

Jinto: A girl who casts a spell on me and smiles beautifully. I think it's possible for a fan to be in love with me....nobody knows our destiny.

Seikichi: I won't turn down any girls.

DAINA: I like AGEHA-kei girls.

KJ: The girl who notices there are more important things than being in love, or romantic things.

Kaito: A girl who is lively, and considerate of others. I love girls who match with 'April' (spring-like) feelings.

5. Where do you want to go on a date (except your room)?

Jinto: A concert

Seikichi: I want to go to Disneyland, even if it's just once.

DAINA: PACHINKO!

KJ: A place with lots of greenery, where we can hear the murmur of a stream.

Kaito: Somewhere with spring sunshine, and a nice view. I want to spend our time together somewhere calm.

6. What presents make you happy?

Jinto: The best present to me, is for you to come to our lives to see me.♪

Seikichi: Anything that you give me.

DAINA: CASH (laugh)

KJ: I am happy to have any presents.....Except odd things.

Kaito: ANYTHING MAKES ME HAPPY!

7. What type of girls or boys do you dislike?

Jinto: I don't have many dislikes, but probably people with bad manners.

Seikichi: Egotistic people.

DAINA: Regrettable people (Editor's Note: I think he means people who always second-guess themselves or regret everything).

KJ: Even if I meet bad people, I try to find a person's good points.

Kaito: People who speak poorly of others.

8. When is your first love ,and who grabbed your heart?

Jinto: I was a second grader of an elementary school - she was my older cousin.

Seikichi: When I was seven, perhaps....

DAINA: She was my preschool teacher.

KJ: Same as DAINA.

Kaito: Her name is Kaori. We went to preschool together.

9. Do you have a steady now?

Jinto: To tell you the truth, I don't have one now. (weep)

Seikichi: As same as below (laugh)

DAINA: TOO MANY, I CA N'T DECIDE!

KJ: As same as above. (smile)

Kaito: I was turned down recently. (bitter smile)

10. What perfume do you use?

Jinto: BVLGARI BLV

Seikichi: CHANEL PLATINUM EGOISTE

DAINA: LUSH 2

KJ: I don't use any perfume.

11. Do you believe fortunetelling? Do you think there are such things as fateful encounters?

Jinto: I believe in my feelings more than fortunetelling. ( laugh) I think there can be fateful encounters.

Seikichi: I believe in fortunetelling, but only if it's good for me.

DAINA: NO. NEVER.

KJ: I don't believe in fortunetelling. But maybe there are fateful encounters.

Kaito: I don't watch fortunetelling much, but sometimes if it says "good" I feel happy, or I'm more careful if it says "bad." (laugh) I think there are fateful encounters.

12. It is the last question. Will you give a message to your fans?

Jinto: I wish for all of your happiness.♪

Seikichi: Love me, please! (laugh)

DAINA: Cast your vote for me!!
