Interview with GizeL

Thank you very much for answering our questions!

1. First of all, will you introduce yourselves, along with your musical nstruments?

Vocal: Shinnosuke (su-sama). Microphone[AUDIX OM-5]

Guitar: Saki. PRS CUSTUM 22

Guitar: Kuma. ESP-original model Hekisyo

Bass: Dai. (No answer)

Drums: Mah. I always have my face towel with me.

2. How did you meet your instruments, and how long have you played?

Shinnosuke: It looks incidental, but it's a necessity for me. I have been singing since I was born♪

Saki: Because I was invited by other members.

Kuma: My elder brother had played the acoustic guitar....I just wanted to imitate him. I have played it for 9 years.

Dai: One of my superior advised me to play it. I have played seriously for about two years.

Mah: About 5 years, maybe...?? Because there was no drummer in my first band, I started playing vaguely. But I remember, I wanted to play the drums when I was a kindergartner. It was so attractive to me.

3.  Have you ever tried to play other instruments?

Shinnosuke: I've just been a shining prince vocalist.

Saki: Nothing.

Kuma: Harmonica

Dai: Guitar and Drums

Mah: I have played the cello and the saxophone in junior high school, for one year each. They were my club activities. I've also been playing the electronic keyboard since I was a kindergartner to my second year of high school.

4. How did you get together as a band?

Shinnosuke: It looks like an incident, but it was a necessity for us, too.♪

Saki: In the course of things.

Kuma: Su-sama invited me to his session. Saki was in the studio. Dai was introduced us by my friend, and Mah and I played on the same stage at the session.

Dai: No comment.

Mah: Kuma mailed me first. Then, 2 months later, I mailed him to ask"How's your searching for a drummer?" That was the trigger.

5.  Who is the leader?

Shinnosuke: Me. Because I am a prince. (smile)

Saki: The vocalist is.

Kuma: Su-sama is.

6. Who mainly writes the music?

Shinnosuke: Kumaccho (*Boh's note: Komaccho is Kuma's nickname)

7. How about lyrics?

Shinnosuke: I do. ♪I hope you really enjoy my world.♪

8. Who is your favorite musician, or who was your trigger to start playing?

Shinnosuke: JUDY AND MARY

Saki: HIDE

Kuma: Seikima-II, THE BACK HORN

Dai: It's a secret.

Mah: I like female vocalists. I have also been listening to pizzicato five for a long time. Lately, I've been listening to HELLO PROJECT.

9. Will you tell us the message in your music, or the theme of your music?

Shinnosuke: I write reality from a romantic representation. Please read it into my lyrics.♪

Kuma: Surface and reverse.

Mah: To represent the reality in a fantasy....maybe.

10. Will you tell us your next live schedule?

11. Do you have any plans to release new CDs or DVDs? Do you plan to sell them overseas, or to have any lives in foreign countries?

Shinnosuke: If you all wish or pray for it, it will be possible, I think.♪ Please keep Gizel in your hearts.♪

Saki:We haven't decided yet. But when we're more popular, it will be possible.

Kuma: It is difficult, because I am afraid of airplanes.

12. Do you have any rules or rituals? For example, to pray or so before you go up on stage?

Shinnosuke: To get pumped up for the performance♪We say "Do our best!" and so on.

Saki:I touch my fist with Shinnosuke's. (*Keloid's Note: Fist-bump?)

Kuma: I take off my shoes and socks.

Dai: We make a circle.

Mah: I always say,"We can do it. Just play as usual. Let's have fun!", I think....

13. Please tell us about the best CD or live performance you saw this year, or one that you recommend.

Shinnosuke: GizeL: [Namida no ki:A tree of tears.] It is our first CD. I recommend it.♪

Saki: Nnnnnn......

Kuma: Rin to shite shigure: [just A moment]

Dai: No comment

Mah: Of course, [Namida no ki:A tree of tears] is it.

I am sorry for taking so much of your time. From now on, I would like to ask you more personal questions. I hope you will answer all of them.

1. What is your favorite food? Do you have any foods that are impossible to eat, or foods you hate?

Shinnosuke: I like fruit♪ I like pears, apples, and Kyohou (*Boh's note: A kind of Grape.) And snacks....But I don't like litchis, raw fish and onions.

Saki: I like beer. I don't have any foods I hate.

Kuma: I like the foods that kids like.

Dai: I like meats, but I don't like melons.

Mah: I like chocolate and strawberry-flavored foods. I hate onions.

2. How do you spend your free time?

Shinnosuke: I like to sleep.

Saki: Sleep. Sleep. Sleep.

Kuma: I do not have many holidays. But, I sleep, sleep, and sleep.

Dai: I want to go on adventures.

Mah: Usually, I play with my dog and just relax. At night I practice the drums. If I can take a few days off: I will play for two days. I'd like to go to Disneyland or Universal Studios Japan...And the last day will be a typical holiday, maybe.

3.  What is your hobbies or specialty, with the exception of music?

 Shinnosuke: Specialty: Arm wrestling. Hobby: To collect beautiful things.

Saki: Nothing.

Kuma: Specialty: Tongue twisters. Hobby: Nothing, really.

Dai: Watching movies is my hobby.

Mah: Hallucination.

4.  What type of women or girls do you like? Are there any chances for your fans to be your girlfriends?

Shinnosuke: Feminine ♪Please love me a lot♪

Saki: There are no women or girls who are unattractive to me.

Kuma: Attractive ladies....Funny people.

Dai: Secret.

Mah: A woman or girl who can speak her own opinions.

5. If you had a date,where do you want to go, except your room?

Shinnosuke: Disneyland ♪And I want to stand out more than Mickey and Minny☆

Saki: Maihama Aquarium

Dai: A quiet place

Mah: Disneyland!!! And watching the parade and dancing together.

6. What would be good gifts for the fans to give you? Have you ever been given any strange or surprising gifts?

Shinnosuke: I'd like to receive snacks or sweets. ♪I was surprised to have been given a room key..(bitter smile)

Saki: Nnnnnn.......

Kuma: I love to read letters. The most surprise was an iPod.

Dai: Sweets.

Mah: Letters are the best for me, because I can understand how much they thought of me while they wrote to me. The most surprising was...maybe...a mini shelf from the KITTY brand, because it was furniture.

7.  Will you tell us the type of girl that you dislike?

No comment.

8. Who was your first love, and who grabbed your heart?

Shinnosuke: She was a kindergarten teacher.♪

Saki: Miss Sasaki. She was my class mate in elementary school.

Dai: When I was in the first year of high school. She was my class mate.

9. Do you have a girl friend now?

Shinnosuke: Me, myself in the mirror.♪

Saki: I have no girl friend,sorry.

Kuma: I have no time to fall in love, and my face is not the type normally loved by people.

Dai: No, I don't.

Mah: I have a dog(♂) named "Rainbo". He is a papillon.

10. What perfume do you use?

Shinnosuke: Angel Heart

Saki: I don't use any.

Kuma: LOVE&PEACE

Dai: I don't use any.

Mah: LOLITA LEMPICKA

11. Do you believe in fortunetelling? Do you think there are fated encounters?

Shinnosuke: Yes. I believe only good things♪ But if it says bad things, I just don't care about it. That's all. Don't fret too much.

Saki: I don't believe in it.

Kuma: Maybe there are, I think.

Dai: I don't believe in fortunetelling. But there are fateful encounters.

Mah: I believe in it, and I think there are.
