Interview with The GLAMS German Support Team

Official THE GLAMS support was started by RI0T and Fizban Pernegelf in September 2009 in Germany as an inofficial MySpace but with their hard work they soon got the permission to call it official.

I'm glad to say that both took the time to answer some questions.

KnJ: Hello to the both of you. Please introduce yourself with a  few words.

Fizban Pernegelf: Hi, I am Sabrina 25 years old and I am a little bit crazy about music - especially Sugizo -, my cat and my dog.

RIOT: Hello I'm RI0T. The GLAMS support Admin :)

KnJ: How did you get to know about THE GLAMS?

Fizban Pernegelf: I get to know about THE GLAMS, because Show once had an account here on myspace and I was curious, who he was, so I just asked him. Later Riot told me more about them.

RIOT: It's a long personal story, but I got to know them, and started to really love this band.

KnJ: What's your most favorite song by them or which one would you recommend?

RIOT: eschatology and World without anything.

Fizban Pernegelf: For me? I like 'world without anything' most.

KnJ: How did you come up with the idea to start this support team on MySpace?

RIOT: At least it was FIZBANS idea, cos of the personal story. But I really started to like the idea, so we made this support.

Fizban Pernegelf: Riot and I were phoning with each other and talked about how we could find a way to see THE GLAMS live one day. So I just said 'then let us support them', made the E-mail adress and the myspace profile.

KnJ: How do you work on the MySpace account? Does each one of you have a certain scope of duties or do both of you do everything that needs to be done?

Fizban Pernegelf: Riot ist making the design and has the contact to the musicians. I am the one, who is making the promotion in J Rock bulletin board, J Rock communities and so on. But answering mails and so, we both make it.

RIOT: We have our special scopes. I'm working on the design, cos I'm graphic designer. And I'm trying to deal the personal things with YOU and SHOW. Talking to the band. And FIZBAN's takes the PR stuff.

KnJ: Are you doing other projects of this kind?

RIOT: Well, yes I'm helping german band here.

Fizban Pernegelf: Other projects? Not really as administration... but I help a good friends with the Jills Blue Roses support and be part of the German Kagrra Fan team.

KnJ: What are you doing apart from this? Working on promoting in general or some completely different stuff?

Fizban Pernegelf: Apart from this. Oh, I am studying Bioinformatics. That is Biotechnology combined with Computer Science. Than I help in an animal protection group for Grate Danes - these are that really tall, slim dogs with the short hair and I am writing a lot.

RIOT: A lot. ha ha.

I'm promoting them in nearly all ways. Some people help to build up the supporting team on other sites like facebook or Animexx too. Our next step will be some promotion flyers.

KnJ: Please let us know about future plans for Official THE GLAMS support.

Fizban Pernegelf: For the future, we hope, that with our help, THE GLAMS will be able to play overseas one day. But this will take time.

RIOT: Our future plans? Ha ha. We're trying to take them oversea and make them more famous.
